About
Beaubarian Films is an independent artist-led film practice creating work across screendance, documentary and experimental moving image.
Led by dance artist, researcher and filmmaker Kelly Suleman, her practice explores personal body stories and their parallels in nature, the interchanging duality between urban and natural environments, and the bridge between inner and outer worlds.
Encompassing her evolving Somatic Filmmaking methodology, Beaubarian is drawn to work that sits a little outside the expected: embodied, collaborative and willing to remain with what has not yet fully resolved.
